Russian Proverbs

proverb: Sem' raz otmer' - odin raz otrezh' / Семь раз отмерь - один раз отрежь / Do the measuring seven times before you cut.
meaning: Always think carefully of the consequences and whether it's worth or not doing before you actually do something.

proverb: To be afraid of wolves means not to go to the wood!
meaning: You should takes risks if you want to get something. Obstacles are natural.
